Alignan-du-Vent is a tiny, charming village from the Roman era, it has approx. 1,750 inhabitants and is located in the South French Département Hérault in der region of Occitania.

Although the Prieuré Saint Martial belongs to Alignan-du-Vent, it lies outside of the town, exactly in the middle of the town triangle Alignan-du-Vent, Tourbes and Valros.
